How to use proxies with OpenBullet
This guide is based on the latest version, , OpenBullet2 Please adhere to setup instructions, noting that OpenBullet can be configured and initiated in several ways. It is essential to have Microsoft .NET version 6 or higher installed.
The web client of OpenBullet2 is platform-independent and operates seamlessly across various devices. In contrast, the native client is designed exclusively for Windows, offering a more fluid user experience at the expense of portability, localization options, and remote accessibility. For a comprehensive walkthrough, this guide focuses on utilizing the web client.
- Launch the app via the terminal command or open OpenBullet2.exe from a downloaded directory.
- Select Proxies.
- To create a new proxy group, select Add Group and pick a name. You can add as many groups as you want with multiple proxies in each group.
- Import Proxies to the newly created group.
- Follow the specified syntax when adding proxies: brd.superproxy.io:33335:username:password
- To configure OpenBullet proxies, add the following details from your proxy zone Access parameters.
- Optionally, you can test your proxies by navigating to Jobs > New > Proxy Check.
- Select an OpenBullet proxy group you wish to test, Create Job, and Start the testing job.
- You’re now ready for interruption-free web scraping and automation by sending HTTP(S) requests through a proxy using OpenBullet 2.
