FoxyProxy Proxy Integration
What is FoxyProxy?
FoxyProxy is a powerful tool for Chrome and Firefox that makes it easy to manage and switch between proxy servers. Unlike other plugins, it uses the Chrome Proxy API and offers a one-click switch option.

FoxyProxy offers automatic switching based on website addresses, efficient event handling for changes, and compatibility with online rule lists. For those wanting a simpler experience, FoxyProxy Basic is available with fewer settings.
Steps to Integrate Bright Data proxies with FoxyProxy
Go through the following steps after signing up to Bright Data.
Add your Zone as shown here:
Choose proxy type:
In this example, we will show Datacenter proxy setup.
Name the zone and select IP type:
Choose from shared proxies, dedicated proxies, or premium IPs.
Number of IPs & geolocation:
- Choose the Country & City
- Choose the number of IPs you will be using
- Review plan and click “Add”

Integrate FoxyProxy Google Chrome Extension with Bright Data Proxies
FoxyProxy extension download:
Download the FroxyProxy Google Chrome extension and click on “Options”
Proxies tab:
Under the “Proxies” tab click on the “Add New Proxy” button.
Configuration:
Select “Manual Proxy Configuration”.
Proxy host:
Under the “Host” field enter our host address brd.superproxy.io
Proxy port:
Enter the “Port” number 22225
Save credentials:
Make sure “Save Login Credentials” is checked.
Access parameters:
Copy the “Username” & “Password” from your Bright Data zone Access parameters.
Authentication:
Paste it under the “Authentication” tab and hit save.
Click on FoxyProxy extension:
Click on the FoxyProxy Google Chrome extension and select “Use proxy brd.superproxy.io:22225 for all URLs”
Event log:
Open your target website and check if the same URL is registered in the Bright Data “Event log”.

How Bright Data Proxies Integrate With FoxyProxy FireFox Extension
FoxyProxy Firefox download:
Download the FroxyProxy Firefox extension and click on “Options”
Add proxy:
Click on the “Add” button.
Add title:
Give your Proxy a Title.
Proxy type:
Select the Proxy Type.
Proxy IP address:
Enter our Proxy IP address brd.superproxy.io
Enter port details:
Enter the “Port” number 22225
Access parameters:
Copy the “Username” & “Password” from your Bright Data zone Access parameters settings.
Enter details:
Paste it under the “Username” & “Password” field. Hit Save.
Click on FoxyProxy Firefox extension:
Switch to your Bright Data Proxy
Event log:
Open your target website and check if the same URL is registered in the Bright Data “Event log”.
