What is an IP used for?

An IP is a unique identifier providing information such as the location and carrier of a user. This information is used by a target website to understand where the user is coming from and display information accordingly.

Types: Shared, Dedicated, Exclusive

Residential: An IP assigned from an internet service provider to a user.

Mobile: A 3G/4G connection assigned from a carrier to a user.

Shared: The IPs are clustered in a shared pool for everyone to use

Exclusive: You are the only one using that IP for the specified domain

Static: The IP does not change.
