PowerDrop is a SaaS platform designed to help eBay sellers perform market research. Its customers are dropshippers, looking to find top-selling products with good profit margins. PowedDrop offers its customers two main services: the ability to perform keyword/niche/trend research, and the
ability to follow successful merchants, and see which of their products are selling the most.
The challenge: In order for PowerDrop to offer its users the insights they require, and help them find top-selling products at the best prices from reliable merchants, they needed access to large amounts of public online data from 11 online marketplaces.
The solution: PowerDrop chose the Bright Data Proxy manager (LPM), to organize all its proxies in one interface, and use a number of different IP types to access public online marketplace data for its users
The outcome: By using the Bright Data Proxy manager, PowerDrop is able to organize all its proxies in one interface, and use a variety of IP types to swiftly gain access to large amounts of public online data from 11 online marketplaces. It counts on Bright Data‘s reliable network, speed, and uptime – critical in its field – to give its customers the best service possible. The company plans to grow much larger, offering more marketplace options from which their customers can perform market research, and Bright Data‘s data collection platform will enable them to do so.
