Bright Data CEO Or Lenchner will be joined alongside a panel of prominent market leaders at this year’s Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, for an interactive masterclass session focusing on how companies, now more than ever, are using web data in wildly useful new ways to answer business questions across every aspect of their organization.

The panel, which includes Founder and CEO at CASAFARI, Nils Henning, and Vice President of Product at Red Points, Geoffrey Cleaves, will demonstrate how some of the top companies are using web data to solve many of the challenges they face today and where it directly impacts their organizational strategies on a day-to-day basis.

Those in attendance will hear first-hand examples of some of the methods in which these top companies are implementing web data strategies to ask smarter questions and find valuable answers — allowing them to better gauge consumer sentiment, set dynamic pricing strategies, and gain increased visibility over the market landscape.

The masterclass session itself comes on the backdrop of a survey recently released by Bright Data and the independent research firm Vanson Bourne, which focused on the increased usage of web data across varying business sectors.

The survey results of 500 IT, technology, and data analytics professionals across the US, UK, and France, revealed a clear expansion of web data usage across the retail, travel, and banking sectors — indicating that the market reliance on web data has significantly increased over the past year.

According to the survey, some 93% of businesses believe that web data is either “very important” or “crucial” to supporting operations and decision-making across their organizations.

Furthermore, close to nine out of the ten (87%) of respondents stated that the need for web data within their organizations has grown over the last year, and 90% reported that their web data budgets increased within the same time period.

This is despite the fact that companies worldwide are cutting expenses across the board due to the macro global economic situation. Where many other departmental budgets have been sized down, this is not being reflected in the data acquisition market, which businesses are seeing as crucial to the success of their organizations.

Learn more about how your organization can implement web data strategies to both win bigger and make the split-second decisions that place your organization above the rest at this year’s Web Summit, November 3, 2022, at 16:00 in Masterclass Room 5.
